The Festival

The second edition of the Ocarina International Festival, in Budrio and the metropolitan area of Bologna.

The event takes place from April 10 to April 13, 2025. It constitutes an important opportunity to celebrate the symbolic instrument of Budrio’s cultural heritage in all its forms and the social and musical community that carries on its artisanal tradition and memory, enchanting generations of fans and professionals worldwide.

A musical fairy tale that blends history and music, combining comedy with 17th-century music reimagined through a contemporary, pop-inspired lens. On stage, Elio, the Gruppo Ocarinistico Budriese and Soqquadro Italiano, led by Vincenzo Capezzuto.

A musical fairy tale blending history and music, this performance alternates between comedy and 17th-century music, creatively reimagined. On stage, Elio, the storyteller and main performer, is joined by the seven-piece ocarina ensemble of the Gruppo Ocarinistico Budriese and the crossover group Soqquadro Italiano, led by the irresistibly charismatic singer and dancer Vincenzo Capezzuto, with live electronic arrangements by Fabio Fiandrini.
